Level 1 charging stations

Fast-charging DC devices.

A level 3 or CHAdeMO DC fast charger may provide 130 to 160 kilometres of range in just 20 minutes of charging for your electric vehicle. These devices are primarily employed in commercial and industrial settings since they require highly specialised and powerful equipment to install and maintain.

Not all electric cars can utilise DC fast chargers to charge them up. While many plug-in hybrid vehicles have this charging capability, many 100 percent electric vehicles do not.

The autonomy of the car will be determined by the vehicle’s parameters after it has been “loaded” with energy. The weight of additional batteries can increase the motor’s difficulty in moving. However, with a shorter range and slower recharge time, extended journeys may be more challenging with a smaller battery capacity.
